SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

o The function of the following key in the MDaemon.ini file was
changed:

AllowPOPAliasLogon=Yes (or No)
This key is now called:
[Special]
AllowAliasLogon=Yes (or No)
The old key can be deleted from the MDaemon.ini file. This key will
now control whether alias logons are allowed for POP and IMAP users.
Previously, it only applied to POP users.
MAJOR NEW FEATURES

* FURTHER MDAEMON GROUPWARE INTEGRATION *
MDaemon GroupWare is a separately licensed product available from
http://www.altn.com which allows your Microsoft Outlook users to
share their Calendar, Tasks, Journal, Notes, and Contact folders with
other Outlook users without the expense or need for Microsoft
Exchange server.
MDaemon has several new visual aids for GroupWare users within its
main GUI. You can stop/start the GroupWare server, see the number
of license used, and receive information on acquiring GroupWare all
from within the main MDaemon GUI.
Also, WorldClient has been enhanced to read GroupWare calendar
folders. If you click on a Calendar type folder from within
WorldClient the data will appear in Calendar form rather than as
normal email messages.
You can disable WorldClient's use of GroupWare folders by editing
WorldClient's Domains.ini and setting the following key:

ShowGroupWareCalendars=No (default Yes)
CHANGES AND ADDITIONAL NEW FEATURES

o MDaemon will better support SMTP senders who pipeline SMTP commands.
o MDaemon has a switch setting which requires AUTH if a message is
from a local user. A new switch has been added which will allow you
to exempt messages from this requirement if the recipient is a valid
local account. This switch is disabled by default. To enable it
edit the MDaemon.ini file and set the following key:

o fix to quotas not always applied correctly for DomainPOP
o fix to MD not loading up all domains at startup
o fix to MD freezing when scrolling long WorldClient log files in GUI
o fix to potential crash when processing return receipts
o fix to blank IMAP ACL responses not being quoted
o fix to prevent more invalid characters in mail directories
o fix to ComAgent sometimes deleting address books when disconnected
