So, a new test is being performed where 'MDaemon' is passed in the MAIL parm during test SMTP sessions. To have MDaemon properly handle this test a new switch has been added to the MDaemon.ini file. This switch is enabled by default: [Special] SecureMDaemonAlias=Yes (or No) If you find that this switch causes you problems in your configuration just change it back to No to resume older behavior. o When accounts are over quota and send restricted they will receive an email (Quota.msg) when they try to send messages. This will explain to them that they are over quota and unable to send messages. o If AutoPrune is enabled, ListPrune.exe will delete processed messages in the Inbox of the account listed for the Notification returned email address, if the following setting is set in the ListPrune.ini file which you can find in your APP directory: [ListPrune] PruneFolder=Yes (default No) NotificationFolder=Yes (default No) o The "SMTP Server refused mail with NULL reverse path" option was removed from the Misc. Options GUI. This option is still available via direct editing of the MDaemon.ini file but because it is a violation of RFC regulations to enable it and because it will land your site a prime spot on rfc-ignorant.com we decided to make it harder to use this. The only reason it survives in any form is because it is used to combat the spam problem which, in my opinion, was totally overlooked by the RFC rules. o The MDaemon GUI will populate the WorldClient and LDAP log tabs right away when you click and activate those tabs.
