Our courts are so screwed up in the United States and so are people like the e360 crowd who say things like this: "They are thumbing their nose at an order of the court," Loethen said. "What else can we do?" As if a United States court has ANY jurisdiction over the citizens of the United Kingdom! How stupid! If the e360 people would pursue their claims in a UK court then the "order of the court" might have some merit. But they won't do that because the UK doesn't have tolerance for stupid law-suits like the US does. Also, if you lose, you pay EVERYTHING for both sides and court costs (or something similar) in the UK. It seems easy to fool a US judge into ruling in your favor on technology based claims which they don't understand. The claims by e360 were that Spamhaus "blocks email" which is totally untrue. They maintain a list of sites which do not conform to their (Spamhaus') mail policies. That is all they do. That others might use such a list to block messages coming into _their_ mail system is not a concern of Spamhaus and is not under the control of Spamhaus. This whole thing is so dumb. And I can't conceive of the Internet registrars who aren't parties to this suit complying with yet another impotent US court order to suspend a domain registration. What's gonna happen next...
