Thank you for the directions which you have provided.
Using them I was able to recreate what you have
described. I was unable to find a workaround for this
issue so I put in a bug report with the developers to
look into coding a fix into a future version of
MDaemon. I cannot predict when that fix will be
created and implemented.
I think the reason that you are having problems using
the pipe character "|" in your content filter rule is
that the pipe character is a special character in the
content filter file. It is used to separate the
different portions of a condition or action from each
other in content filter rules having multiple
conditions or actions. You can view your content
filter file ("cfrules.dat" in folder "\MDaemon\App\")
to see this.
