The particular part to pay attention to is in RFC1855 --

summarize the original at the top of the message, or include just
enough text of the original to give a context. This will make
sure readers understand when they start to read your response.

postings from one host to another, it is possible to see a
response to a message before seeing the original. Giving context

The fundamental source of poor email style is the practice of quoting
the entire message you’re replying to. If that’s what you do, then it
doesn’t matter whether you put your response at the top or bottom. In
fact, if you’re going to quote the entire message, top-posting probably
is better. But both are poor form.
Writing an email is like writing an article. Only quote the relevant
parts, interspersing your new remarks between the quoted passages. Don’t
quote anything at all from the original message if you don’t have to.
Does it take more time to edit the portions of quoted text included in
your reply? Yes. So does spell-checking and proofreading. It also takes
time to shower and brush your teeth each day.

Kalau mail di remote queue (primary queue) tidak bisa dikirim karena alasan
teknis apapun dibuarkan saja, bukan dipindah ke local queue yang akan membuat
masalah baru (mail di route ke bad queue).
Jika dibiarkan dan masih terus tidak bisa kirim maka message tersebut akan
berpindah ke retry queue (secondary queue) dan original sender akan terima DSN
(Delivery Status Notification) of Delay Delivery.
Mail di retry queue akan di retry to send setiap 240 menit sekali sampai dengan
2x24 jam kedepan.
Kalau akhirnya mail terkirim maka original sender akan dikirimi DNS of Success
Delivery message sementara kalau gagal dikirimi DSN of Failure delivery message.
Kalau ingin mempercepat pengiriman, tanpa masuk ke retry queue, aktifkan
Fallback relay ke smarthost nya ISP atau mail hoster.

Umumnya ISP tidak keberatan usernya menggunakan servernya sebagai smarthost
asalkan tidak kirim bulk (Mass, Mailing, Mail Campaign) message alias low
traffic (dibawah 1000 message/hours).
Juga umumnya setting smarthost mereka menggunakan trusted IP yang artinya semua
server dengan fixed public IP dari jaringan mereka diperkenankan relay tanpa
authentication (tidak perlu mengaktifkan SMTPAuthentication).
