"An option having no effect in context X" != "A useless option". "An option causing a surprise in context X" != "A useless option" I'll leave it at that. We're just not in agreement as to how mdb piping _should_ work. It breaks _my_ expectations in more than one place but I stated that already. I'm all with you that the resulting feature from this change (a calculated address becoming input in an mdb pipe) is a long-needed addition. Can we agree on that ? FrankH.
