Does the 'Do not reset activation flag' in the Prepare Windows for Capture task also affect Office 2010 when capturing an image, if so do you still need to rearm Office 2010 before capturing the image?
I ask as we have enabled this option for capturing our volume license edition of Windows 7. We also have a volume license for Office 2010 and we have been rearming according to this article http://blogs.technet.com/b/deploymentguys/archive/2011/06/15/deploying-volume-activation-for-office-2010.aspx The initial capture work as expected, however we have a need to re-capture the image but we are getting the message when running the OSPPREARM.EXE during the second capture: Rearm failed for AppId = {GUID}, SkuId = (null) - 0 Rearms Remaining. Error Code: 0xC004D307 This translates to: The security processor reported that the maximum allowed number of re-arms has been exceeded. You must re-install the OS before trying to re-arm again. Has anyone else encountered such an issue?
