I know Win8 and WS12 don't have the install on D: issue like 7 and 2008R2 did, but for the build part of the process, at least for me, building from install media still makes the most sense to my feeble mind. Maybe we don't need it going forward, but for now, I'm still using it. If that's the case why is there still an "operating systems installers" node in the console. I don't see anywhere that can be used anymore.
