Check %WINDIR%INF\setupapi.dev.log. Sort through and determine driver rankings
and see what was chosen and why.

Might want to specify I driver package. If you are using the latest ATI driver
(or one from the last 9 months or so) you will need the 2010 redistributable as
it uses some of the more recent .NET code.

It is, both 32 and 64 bit versions, along with 2005, & 2008, they were all
needed for other application dependencies.

Probably should have provided more details. Image is 64 bit Windows 7 thick
image, has more applications that I care to count in it, gotta love public lab
images.

Drivers are handled via OSD no specific package applied to the image just had
it set to let OSD pick the best match (maybe the issue).
All of the other hardware drivers are installed without issue.

Make sure to deploy the Visual C++ 2010 redistributable before installing the
driver.

Subject: [MDT-OSD] ATI Driver issue

OSD image delivery, the ATI 5450 video driver is delivered to the machine but
not installed. Once completed I can update the driver form the device manager
and it installs.

Anyone know of a good guide, have tips on troubleshooting this issue. Guess
I've been lucky and this is the first driver issue I have run into, but I have
600 machines to re-deploy next month with this video card.
