Also, does it actually fail or do you just see that message logged? Because sysprep removes networking support from the OS, it's not uncommon for the MDT scripts to log a message complaining about network adapters, right before it reboots into Windows PE to capture the image. But the logged message isn't fatal, the process runs without any issues.
Generally that issue is tied to the use of SLShareDynamicLogging. Turn it off, the warning goes away.
