That's odd. The article you reference clearly states that it applies to Windows 8 yet it doesn't seem to be present on my system. On my unattend.xml for Windows 7 TaskbarLinks is present under 4 specialize\amd64_Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup_neutral\TaskbarLinks. For Windows 8, 4 specialize\amd64_Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup_neutral\ is present but not TaskbarLinks. What could I be doing wrong? My unattend.xml editor for Windows 7 is "Windows System Image Manager (6.1.7600.16385). For Windows 8 it is Windows System Image Manager (6.2.9200.16384). I'm using Windows 8 Enterprise x64. Thanks for your help.

I'm not able to find taskbarlinks for Windows 8. Is there another approach for 8? Will takbarlinks reappear with 8.1? I was hoping they would make it possible to add more than 3 links. Instead it appears that they have completely taken them away. Thanks for your help.
