Hello,
We use DFS-R as our primary replication for MDT. We cannot make edits to our
primary deployment share through the MDT Workbench. We get the error "The
specified MDT Drive is read-only". Here is how we configure our DFS-R topology.
USA Server = Primary HUB for All
Michigan = Read-only spoke
California = Read-only spoke
UK Server = Primary HUB for EMEA
Germany = Read-only Spoke
France = Read-only Spoke
Japan Server = Primary HUB for APAC
China = Read-only spoke
Korea = Read-only spike
Australia = Read-only spoke
Replication schedule is set to 6pm to 4am Monday - Friday and Full replication
on weekends.
I'm hoping that someone can shed some light or provide some guidance on using
DFS-R as the primary replication for MDT.
