Updating from MDT 2012 Update 1 to MDT 2013 is fully supported, as long as you
install ADK for Windows 8.1 first, are deploying Windows 7 or later, and if you
have ConfigMgr, are using ConfigMgr 2012 R2.

For ConfigMgr, we always recommend creating new task sequences with the new
release; existing task sequences in ConfigMgr would still continue to work with
the older MDT toolkit files packages, but no guarantee that they would work if
you changed to the new MDT 2013 toolkit files package.

Thanks,
-Michael

I upgraded mine last night with no issues. Only deployed one machine though.
Using integrated with MDT.

Fellow MDT’ers

Does anyone know yet if a simple upgrade of your Deployment share from MDT 2012
U1 can take place if you upgrade to MDT2013 with ADK 8.1

Or….

Will you need to rebuild your whole Deployment share as with MDT 2012 U1?
