Thanks, that was what we are trying to get them to do. With that limitation of
128k, and a lot of new clients trying to talk across to the MP's when they come
on line.

0x80072efe = ERROR_INTERNET_CONNECTION_ABORTED

This is indicative of something at the network layer - your "traffic shaping" -
reset the or adversely affecting the connection.

Have your network guys exclude HTTP traffic to/from the MP and see if that
changes anything.

We are seeing at remote locations that when a tech initiates a PXE boot, it
will boot into WinPE and you get the ConfigMgr background, but the welcome
screen never comes up. It takes about 10 minutes for it to process the policy
assignments, then it get the following in the smsts log

WinHttpQueryDataAvailable (hRequest, &dwSize), HRESULT=80072efe
(e:\qfe\nts\sms\framework\osdmessaging\libsmsmessaging.cpp,9005)
12/4/2013 11:01:14 AM
cannot read available data with winhttp; 80072efe 12/4/2013 11:01:14
AM

Then WinPE will finally reboot, and not give the welcome screen or the task
sequence selection screen.

This location has a DP on site, and the connection back to our main office is a
T1. This T1 has traffic shaping on it for connections back to our Primary site
and our Secondary servers which is limited to 128k of that T1. We were able to
use ZTI to reimages some computers at night (night is when the traffic shaping
is disabled) but when the techs try to use LTI during the day it fails.

Is there any way to get this working that you know of working within the
confines of the bandwidth limitations?
