I'll give that a try. I noticed the step in my TS that should have injected drivers evaluated to false (using the E1000 NIC)

Cheers, Trevor Sullivan From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Marcum, John Sent: Thursday, January 9, 2014 8:52 AM To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: [MDT-OSD] VMXNet 3 Driver Win 7 OSD I'm trying to deploy Win 7 to a VMWare machine using the VMXNet 3 driver. I am not using PXE, I have a boot iso that I've injected the driver into. Booting works fine. The wim applies, machine reboots then it doesn't load the NIC driver in Windows. I get no IP so of course the TS fails at that point. I have a driver package added to the TS with the same driver that I injected into PE. I have a WMI filter for VMWare as the manufacturer. I also set an Auto Apply Drivers step and filtered that to only VMWare machines. Still no luck. Has anyone successfully deployed Win 7 to VMWare using this NIC? I'm CM12. Here's my WMI Filter SELECT * FROM Win32_ComputerSystem WHERE Model LIKE '%VMware%' ________________________________ John Marcum Sr. Desktop Architect Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP ________________________________ ________________________________ Confidentiality Notice: This e-mail is from a law firm and may be protected by the attorney-client or work product privileges.
