That's what I meant...running the ConfigMgr console from a remote workstation vs running it on the server itself. Just trying to eliminate scenarios.

MS told us any addons you use have to be installed on the primary you are connecting to as well. We had this issue with MDT and Nomad a few months back. Yes, both MDT 2013 and Nomad Branch 5.2. I get this error on 2 different workstations with both MDT and Nomad extensions installed but I also get this error when I modify the task sequence on the primary site server which does not have these extensions added.
