That's what I meant...running the ConfigMgr console from a remote workstation
vs running it on the server itself. Just trying to eliminate scenarios.

I'm connected via RDP. The server is virtualized so there isn't a physical
console unfortunately.

Do you get the error when editing the Task Sequence while on the server itself
too, or only connecting via remote consoles?

No luck.

I added the extensions for both Nomad and MDT to the server and I still get the
error.

There is your problem. MS told us any addons you use have to be installed on
the primary you are connecting to as well. We had this issue with MDT and Nomad
a few months back.

Just a single site.
Yes, both MDT 2013 and Nomad Branch 5.2.

I get this error on 2 different workstations with both MDT and Nomad extensions
installed but I also get this error when I modify the task sequence on the
primary site server which does not have these extensions added.

Do you have multiple sites? Can you open the TS at all of your sites? Are you
using any 3rd party pieces? (MDT, Nomad, etc).

Subject: [MDT-OSD] SCCM 2012 R2 Task Sequence Saving Error

I have been recreating our build task sequence as part of our migration from
SCCM 2007 to 2012. I've now started to get this error when I attempt to save
edits. I make a single change, hit apply and then this error appears.

<image008.png>

As far as what kind of edits I'm making, I'm just trying to add a TS variable
option and that's all at this point:
<image009.png>

Any tips on how to make this go away? I've gotten about 80% of the way through
re-creating my build when I've hit this wall.

Thanks
