There may be a way to pause your OSD process (such as LTISUSPEND.WSF for
MDT) and have the user logon and then install the application. However I
have to agree with Daniel and Phil. If this is truly an application that
needs to run under the user context I would look for other methods. Such as
creating a package or application that installs as the user. This would be
run after the OSD process has finished. Utilizing User Device Affinity (UDA)
as Daniel suggest. Are you using SCCM 2007 or 2012? Can you provide us with
any more details with what you are trying to do?

Thanks,

Could UDA do what you need?

Certainly not supported, but in theory you could probably do so by switching
to the standard GINA DLL to perform the login and install, then restoring
OSDGINA.DLL to continue the Task Sequence.

Have to agree with Niall though. Why do you need to log in as the user?

Is it possible to automate having a user login during OSD, let some software
run as the logged in user, then reboot and proceed as normal? Has anyone
does anything like that?
