Thanks Michael. I guess that means 6.5 is a no go :)
Actually after re-reading the system requirements on the download page it doesn't explicitly state any particular versions are supported but it implies that any versions that work with ConfigMgr are allowed. That was enough to satisfy the person who made the request: "If you are using ZTI and/or UDI, you are allowed to add the MDT SQL database to any version of System Center Configuration Manager with SQL Technology..." I believe we only tested SQL Server 2008 and above. But considering how light MDT's use of SQL Server is, if you can get it installed on the OS you are using, it's probably going to work :) Thanks, -Michael From: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jim Bezdan Sent: Wednesday, March 26, 2014 8:57 AM To: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> Subject: [MDT-OSD] MDT 2012 Update 1 supported SQL version? I have a customer asking me what are the supported versions of SQL for use with MDT 2012 Update 1. I can't seem to find anything specified in the docs or online. Is anyone aware of an official supported version list? Thanks, Jim Bezdan
