FYI, finally got it working. Was just permissions in the SCOrch_users group on
the server.

Subject: RE: [MDT-OSD] Run Orchestrator Runbook from WinPE?

The built-in MDT step makes the same web service calls as scojobrunner.exe
(which is a .NET executable, so it would need the .NET Framework in Windows PE
to use). So if one fails, the other should too :)

As Keith mentioned, the ZTIExecuteRunbook.log (or BDD.LOG) would be helpful for
troubleshooting.

Thanks,
-Michael

The built in MDT command should work, specifically what problems are you
having? What does ZTIExecuteRunbook.log say?

Thanks Trevor, I was hoping to use the built in MDT task, but if I have to do
command line and it works, I will take it! I will let everyone know my results!

Daniel,

Check out scojobrunner.exe. It's part of the System Center 2012 Orchestrator
Community Releases project on Microsoft's CodePlex open-source hosting site. I
believe this will help you accomplish what you're after.

Subject: [MDT-OSD] Run Orchestrator Runbook from WinPE?

Has anyone ever done this successfully? I cannot find a direct answer and mine
is not working. Plan to do some testing later this week and pull some logs to
see.

We are using ConfigMgr integrated with MDT.
