One is through the update ID via the GUID, example: ; MS Hardware Keyboard and Mouse WUMU_ExcludeID1=ee8b2e4f-1822-46a0-b6e7-6ea95e975283 The other is via the a KB Article match: WUMU_ExcludeKB1=259695 From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Gary Delia Sent: Wednesday, May 7, 2014 10:40 AM To: [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: RE: [MDT-OSD] ztiwindowsupdate.wsf You are using the property incorrectly, you should be excluding by KB number not guid E.g. To remove Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2862330) WUMU_ExcludeID001=2862330 Source: http://scriptimus.wordpress.com/2012/03/22/mdt-2012-automating-updates-in-lite-touch-deployments/ Gary Delia S7 Technology Group LLC 622 Third Avenue 38th Floor New York, NY 10017 Tel. 646.462.4569 <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected] From: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jeff Poling Sent: Wednesday, May 7, 2014 1:28 PM To: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> Subject: [MDT-OSD] ztiwindowsupdate.wsf Seems like I post about this alot. . .but I am having trouble getting updates excluded by ztiwindowsupdate.wsf. I have the following in customsettings.ini(there is more in there, but I am excluding it for simplicity): [Default] OSInstall=Y WUMU_ExcludeID001=35dcb297-873a-45af-bb19-e8b18aedd5bb WUMU_ExcludeID002=cb96696e-b4dc-4dbf-a772-75eca62adafe During the run of the task sequence, the above updates do not get excluded.
