Not sure about John, but this happens to me while using Hyper-V so there aren’t
any wireless adapters anyway. But like I said, This has not stopped my TS in
any way. As long as it was working for me I didn’t even try to figure out why
it was displaying that error.

Indeed.

Most of the time the ethernet wired driver isn't correctly detected and
installed.

Try to inject the specific driver during your TS in you image.

Did had this error also, turned up it was the wired networkdriver.

Wait a minute, you say below that you are using wired Ethernet to do the
deployment, yet the logs say that there are no adapters present? Hold on there!

Upon review of ZTIGather.wsf, it may be having problems detecting Wi-Fi
adapters, so the error message may not be the most accurate, however the
underlying problem still exists, IMHO - You don’t have a problem with Wi-Fi,
you have a problem with your wired network.

Have the drivers not loaded yet? Is your DHCP server slow? PortFast?

+1 on this msg. The deployment always finishes successfully for me though.

Its something along the lines of

“No physical adapters present, cannot deploy over wireless”

It seems if I disable the wireless device and then start the deployment I no
longer receive the warning message.

Never seen this before in Litetouch or ZTI. Typically when the machine reboots
into the new OS, the machine does not yet know which Wi-Fi AP to connect to.
Unless you are pushing out the wi-fi connectivity information through GP or
something.

Specifically, what is the error message? Where is the error coming from? Can
you supply logs?

Has anyone noticed wireless interfaces interfering with the deployment process.
I have this Toshiba ultrabook that seems to have issues running a deployment
when the wifi device is enabled. I’m still using the Ethernet todo the
deployment but its as if the deployment is trying to use the wifi first before
the Ethernet device. The process timesout and I receive a warning message in
the final summary.

I only see this issue once the system has left PE and booted into windows 7 to
continue the deployment.
