Yes, that's what I would like to accomplish. I know I've seen that blogged
somewhere before. I'll goof with those reg keys and see what happens.

Just to be clear, we’re talking about making sysprep not show the “Setup is
preparing your computer” message so you can see what’s happening behind it?

I googled the registry changes mentioned, they appear to be related to turning
off a Sysprep action from occurring at all?

editing the registry is simple enough why not give it a try, you'll find the
HIVEs in C:\Windows\System32\Config
you can mount them,. poke in some values, unmount, and bobs your uncle

Uh…. Are you saying to make that change during my task sequence but before this

did you try

1. regedit
2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup
3. Delete value for CmdLine
4. Change value to zero for OOBEInProgress, RestartSetup, SetupPhase, and
SetupType.
5. Restart computer

I know I've seen a blog about this at one time but I can't find it again. How
do I get rid of this screen during a build and capture? I want to see what's
really going on.
