Todd,

The files in the Applications folder are live and you can edit them so long as
you don’t change the parent folder name. It’s not like SCCM where you have to
update the DP. If you make a change to the source files they should work. Are
you using some type of DFS that maybe the files aren’t replicating?

Updating the deployment share just updates the boot images.

Subject: [MDT-OSD] Update/Modify an imported Application in MDT

An embarrassingly basic question…. I have not much exp. with the MDT
deployment workbench and LTI stuff. I have finally decided to cave-in and
investigate doing my B&C in LTI instead of SCCM+MDT with ZTI process. I’m
still not convinced this is in any way easier or better, but I’m giving it a go.

I imported an application into MDT 2013 Update 2 and now I need to make some
adjustments to the source files for the application.

The application was created by importing source files. MDT made a folder under
<DeploymentShare>\Applications and copied my source files into that new folder.
I’ve now changed/updated some of the source files and I want MDT to reimport
the new files and changes. I can’t figure out how to do that. I tried
updating my deployment share, but that doesn’t reimport the new/modified files.
I don’t see a refresh option when right clicking on the Application in the
list or anything like that. Is there a way to import/update the files in the
<DeploymentShare>\Applications folder?

Do I (can I?) just modify the files in the <DeploymentShare>\Applications
folder by hand or will that mess something up?
