The new ADK is not needed to deploy Windows 10 1607. Generally with ConfigMgr you would need to uninstall the old ADK, install the new one, and then update boot images. I don't know if the new ADK is supported with ConfigMgr 1602 though - a good question for the ConfigMgr team.

Michael, We are on SCCM 1602(HotfixKB3155482) with MDT 2013 Update 2; and ADK version 10.1.10586.0. Does the new ADK have to be installed to deploy Win10 1607? If so what is the procedure for installing the new ADL? Are there any gotchas? -Josh From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Michael Niehaus Sent: Tuesday, August 2, 2016 6:31 PM To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: [MDT-OSD] RE: New MDT updates for Windows 10 1607? An updated ADK was released today. There's no need for an updated MDT, the existing MDT 2013 Update 2 release works fine with the new ADK. Is there any word of an update to MDT 2013 now that the Win10 1607 update is out? Or will just updating the Win10 ADK to 1607 on an existing MDT 2013 environment be OK?
