Ahh, didn't realise that the UK was unusual in this respect - I have to admit complete igonorance as to how any of this stuff works. It would certainly be very useful though - this setting could be applied when people set their local transmitter as being in the UK.
Unfortunately, sorting alphabetically doesn't work (it would have made sense for the broadcasters to stick the 2 digit number at the front of the name, but they don't). For example here are the 4 BBC channel names in alphabetical order with the channel number in brackets: BBC Four (9) BBC One (1) BBC Three (7) BBC Two (2) Unfortunately this gets far worse when you add another 50 or so TV and radio stations into the mix. -- Channels show in wrong order https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/205613 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Me TV Development, which is subscribed to Me TV. Status in Me TV, it's TV for me computer: New Bug description: After the original channel scan, channels in the EPG are show in the wrong order. In the UK digital terrestrial channels are always shown in a set order. They are each given a number (BBC One is 1, ITV1 is 3, BBC News 24 is 80, etc) which is the same on every TV set. However, Me TV doesn't reflect this order. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~me-tv-development Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/people/+me/+editemails More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
