Ok, built from source, got 0.5.28.? Still locks up in autoscan.? Once it is in it, you can't get out.? It MAY be that is isn't allowing enough time to tune between channels, and it starts to go to the next channel just as the previous one finally tunes in, and never takes a break to look for button pushes to cancel out. The channel display in the lower left corner only occasionally changes, which may a symptom of the same issue.? This card takes awhile to tune, which may be the problem.? Is there a way to make autoscan have an adjustable delay?
BTW there is a mistake in the instructions you sent to build from source.? Under step two, the first line should not be "devscirps" but rather "devscripts".? I had to add some other packages to make autogen in step 1 work, such as glib and a couple of others. Status in Me TV, it's TV for me computer: In Progress Bug description: Running 0.5.27 in Ubuntu 8.04 beta. Hauppauge HVR-1500, in ATSC mode. Autosurf will consistently lock up the application. The application continues to surf, and doesn't respond to pressing autosurf again, or any other button. Hitting the close box in the window says that the app is not responding, and gives an option to continue or quit now. In addition, while autosurfing, the channel indication in the lower left window frame never changes when the channel changes. The log file shows nothing abnormal, and no error messages. ** Attachment added: "unnamed" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/13831636/unnamed -- Autosurf locks up https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/219562 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Me TV Development, which is subscribed to Me TV.
