Ok, I built from source again. Got 0.5.28 again. I had 0.5.27 running before, and used add/remove to delete it before I built from source. Now I get unable to decode video stream. No demux plugin installed. If I quit, I have to reboot the computer again, because it apparently still ties up the hardware.
I looked under preferences before I quit once, but didn't see anything about changing the autoscan time. Reverting to 0.5.27... The application continues to surf, and doesn't respond to pressing autosurf again, or any other button. Hitting the close box in the window says that the app is not responding, and gives an option to continue or quit now. In addition, while autosurfing, the channel indication in the lower left window frame never changes when the channel changes.
