Also, Me TV dumps the video/audio streams raw on the disk. If there's an issue with the stream then maybe it's what the broadcaster is sending.

Well, it works, but when recording in mpeg-ts format, it produces a large file, yet significantly smaller than a mpeg-ps file. All tools tried to display or convert the ts file complained that they did not find frames in it.
