I think that you are running an old version. See https://launchpad.net/~lamothe/+archive to get a more up to date version. I think that I removed the PS recording option a long time ago. Well, it works, but when recording in mpeg-ts format, it produces a large file, yet significantly smaller than a mpeg-ps file.
