OK, but the exit is instantaneous, it hasn't had the time to scan anything. The channels should be there, they are if I use the dvb-utils scan. So the bug, if there is one, is the failure to find channels. Or is there something else I should re-set in order to run an auto scan ( I tried to scan eurobird 28.5 as well as astra 28.2 as the card, skystar 2 picks up channels from both). Simon -- auto scan fails - no usable channels in channels.conf https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/263331 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Me TV Development, which is subscribed to Me TV. Status in Me TV, it's TV for me computer: Invalid Bug description: In order to rescan I deleted the channels.conf file. On starting Me-TV the message "no channels.conf file would you like one created". Answer yes and hit next then select satellite, astra 28.2 in this case. The app then crashes with the message no usable channels in channels.conf. An empty channels.conf is created.
