G'Day, Not sure if this should be created as a new bug, but in V0.6.2 this issue seems to have resurfaced. I am sharing my recordings using Samba, to an XP machine and any filename with a colon ':' become mangled when viewed from the XP box. Manually removing the colon makes the filename sensible again. It seems to be a Samba (SMB) issue, as the filename is also mangled when the share is mounted from Ubuntu (using Samba).
Details: Ubuntu 8.04 V0.6.2 compiled from http://edge.launchpad.net/me-tv/stable/0.6/+download/me-tv-0.6.2.tar.gz I think V0.6.0 did this also. On some filesystems, such as FAT32, which many external hdds are formatted in, me-tv will crash if it tries to record a program with a title containing characters such as ':' or '?' . _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~me-tv-development Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~me-tv-development More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
