I agree, however all the known screensaver disabling strategies are not
ideal. I think that I will just call "gnome-screensaver-command --poke"
periodically to see if that works. The key-press thing does cause
issues in OpenOffice but it's the default method for a lot of
applications.
Expect to see this change in 0.8.5.
