hc.e confirmed that the question is solved:
I don't know what is going wrong there.
I have an Intel Graphic in my notebook and I have been heard that there are
problems with Intel and Ubuntu 9.04.
But I have crashes every time I set recordings on an another system with
Zenwalk Linux 6.0 and me-tv 0.8.12 I took from source and configured it with
xine-engine. But when I start it to run from gdb it hangs.
Using ctl+c kills gdb.
Sorry that I have not enough knowledge in in this area and can't be of much
help.
