I am using a Terratec Cinergy HTC USB XS with the em28xx drivers with Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04. I have installed the driver as described in http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/em28xx#Installation (german language). The drivers have installed and the USB Stick is detected. I am based in Germany in the county of Baden-Württemberg. I am on Kabel-BW with analog and digital. My problem is getting Me TV to perform a scan from a template, but the problem I am having is creating the initial template required. Note that according to dmesg the stick after booting defaults to FM mode. Hence in order to get Me TV working, the stick needs to be in DVB-C mode and the scan needs to be initiated. According the the forum http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/cinergy-hybrid-t-usb-xs-linuxtauglich-1/47/ (the last 2 pages 46 and 47 deal with my stick and Jaunty) the drivers and in jaunty contained firmware should be able to handle the stick, according to the forum others are having success but they do not state with which programmes and the majority are using DVB-T which I cannot receive owing to lack of signal, hence I am stuck with DVB-C.
