Teman2 mohon informasi untuk configuration DNS server
yg saya gunakan Fedora Core 2 dan configurasi nya:
vi /etc/named.conf
----------------------------
zone fedora2.linux {
type master;
file db.fedora2.linux;
};
-----------------------------
vi /var/named/db.fedora2.linux
------------------------------
$TTL 86400
@ IN SOA ......
..........
........
---------------------------------
vi /etc/resolv.conf
-----------------------
search fedora2.linux
nameserver 192.168.X.XXX
nameserver 127.0.0.1
------------------------
# 192.168.X.XXX adalah ip server fedora2.linux yg saya
install
kemudian saya jalankan :
/etc/init.d/named restart
muncul pesan :
Stopping named: rndc: connect failed : connection
refused
[OK]
Starting named: [OK]
Problem saya yaitu :

1. kenapa muncul pesan rndc : connect failed ?
2. kenapa waktu saya ketik host server DNS saya tidak
dapat ? (perintah yg saya lakukan dibawah ini )?

host fedora2.linux
muncul pesan :
Host fedora2.linux not found : 3(NXDOMAIN)
Kemudian saya cek di :
tail /var/log/messages
muncul pesan :
.
. Fedora2 named[3625]: listening on IPv4 intervace
lo, 127.0.0.1#53
. Fedora2 named[3625]: listening on IPv4 intervace
eth0, 192.168.4.56#53
. Fedora2 named[3625]: couldnt add command channel
127.0.0.1#953: not found
. Fedora2 named[3625]: couldnt add command channel
::1#953 : not found
......
tapi jika saya ketik :
host yahoo.com
yahoo.com has address 66.94.234.13
addressnya dapat / TIDAK MUNCUL KESALHAN
kenapa host fedora2.linux tidak dapat?
Padahal saya ada tambahkan 127.0.0.1 di
/etc/resolv.conf
