Sorry kalo saya rada gak nyambung, ada yang bisa kasi referensi yang
authoritative gak bahwa handphone (signal) di pesawat memang berbahaya?
(Bukan sekedar instruksi dari stewardess Lufthansa yang gak cakep tapi
galak...) Ada studynya FTC / FCC / European equivalent / Boeing / Airbus
yang definitive? Atau dari leading research institutions?

Noel Ward thinks the ban on using cell phones in flight is pointless, so he
sometimes doesn't bother powering his handset down when he's on a plane.
"I'm not sure it matters," says the Web publishing consultant from Amherst,
N.H. "I generally lose a good signal somewhere around 10,000 feet, anyway."
Kalo memang benar-benar berbahaya, saya rasa tanggung jawab airline untuk
memastikan tidak ada penumpang yang bisa menjadi sumber bahaya:
- Ban handphone dari cabin pesawat (seperti mem-ban korek api / mancis).
Selama ini tidak dilakukan, saya anggap airline tidak serius tentang
berbahaya tidaknya signal handphone di pesawat. Other electronics biasanya
disuruh matikan hanya saat take off & landing - seperti laptop, cd player
etc, dan ini di-enforce dengan pramugari keliling nge-cek. Pernah gak di-cek
handphone masing-masing - suruh tunjukkan beneran udah dimatikan? Plus,
sekarang dengan ipod atau mp3 player kecil, bisa di-enforce gak?
- Shield body/interior pesawat sehingga signal tidak bisa masuk/keluar
Mengharapkan penumpang taat mematikan handphone dari masuk pesawat sampai
keluar pesawat, semua orang tau gak mungkin terjadi... sama saja bohong...
