Patut dicontoh oleh Indonesia. Semoga pemerintah Indonesia juga memberikan
kebebasan berbicara sepenuhnya kepada penduduknya.
Orang2 ini bisa dengan tenang melakukan demonstrasi mereka. Hak mereka
mencederai, menyerang mereka, dsb. dsb.
menentang pemerintahnya, langsung masuk bui.

M11: STOP THE WAR
Not One More Death, Not One More Dollar, Not One More Day
Members of the OMNI Center for Peace, Justice & Ecology are planning a march
and rally on March 11th, which marks the fourth anniversary of the Iraq War.
Our message is simple: Not one more death, not one more day, not one more
dollar. We will come together on March 11, 2007 to show our disagreement with
the United States' current military involvement in Iraq and to call on the
government to act to end the war.
We are in the process of scheduling an array of musicians, poets and speakers,
including a veteran from the Iraqi War. Please watch for updates with more
details.
DRAFT STATEMENT OF UNITY FOR M11
We are witnessing today the largest peace offensive this nation has seen since
the Vietnam War.
During every war in our history, individuals and groups have opposed our
country's involvement, whether on religious, personal, or political grounds.
We will come together on March 11, 2007 to show our disagreement with the
United States' current military involvement in Iraq and to call on the
government to act to end the war. Only continued united action of grassroots
activists can stop this war.
NOT ONE MORE DAY
We call on our government to immediately begin the process of withdrawing all
troops from Iraq and to dismantle all U.S. military bases in Iraq. It is time
for political and diplomatic solutions to the sectarian conflict, time for an
Iraqi-led rebuilding of their country, and time to start bringing U.S. troops
home now. Four years is enough.
NOT ONE MORE DEATH
The invasion and occupation of Iraq is responsible for the unnecessary deaths
of over 3,000 U.S. soldiers and possibly hundreds of thousands of Iraqis.
Countless more on both sides continue to suffer from the injuries of war. Not
one more Iraqi or U.S. soldier or civilian should be killed.
NOT ONE MORE DOLLAR
The billions of dollars spent on the continued military campaign in Iraq should
be redirected toward meeting domestic needs at home and funds should be
provided to the Iraqi government to rebuild civilian infrastructure. Congress
should end funding for all military purposes in Iraq. Not one more U.S. dollar
should be spent sustaining war and occupation.
