What Living in Jakarta, the need of having an activity to take us out from routine life is a kind of must. The formation of Jakarta International Community Choir is in response to this need. JICC is the place for you to sing, laugh and enjoy. A new spirit will be find here, have a lot of fun with new friends. Finally, you can express yourself on stage, perform your singing ability. It is also for social activities through choral singing in Jakarta for expatriates and local residents. When The singing activities will be once a week practice on Monday nights from 7.30 to 9.00 pm in a private house in Pondok Indah for two public performances in a year such as the Spring (March) and Christmas (December) Concerts. Where The meeting place will be at a private home in Jalan Sekolah Duta Raya, Pondok Indah, Jakarta Selatan Who Singing lovers who are residing in Jakarta for, at least, the next six months are invited to partipate for the Spring concert in March 2007. Song repertoire will be of wide variety from Chorales to Broadway Musicals to Jazz Arrangements, under the direction of Ms. Ivonne Atmojo (http://www.ivonneatmojo.com). Ivonne returned to Indonesia in 2005 after obtaining her Bachelor of Music from University of Wisconsin - Madison and Master of Music from San Francisco Conservatory. How Much As member of the JICC, monthly fee of Rp 150,000 is payable to share the expenses of training and miscellaneous expenses.
