EchoStar's Satellite Services division is pitching SES Americom's IPTV
customers a conversion program to provide continued delivery of video
transport services to telco IP headend facilities across the U.S.

SES Americom last December announced it would discontinue its IP-Prime
video-transport service July 31, 2009, as the service was being distributed
to fewer than 10,000 subscribers.

EchoStar's IP-Prime Conversion Program will provide qualified customers
with EchoStar's ViP-TV transport service, replacement satellite receivers
and standard professional installation.

The ViP-TV transport service provides MPEG-4-encoded programming --
including about 110 standard-definition feeds and 42 HD channels -- and
according to EchoStar also can provide local TV channel aggregation in the
telco's DMA in both SD and HD formats.

Separately Monday, EchoStar launched of its Spacecraft Command and Control
Services, to provide the commercial satellite industry with telemetry,
tracking and control services for satellites as well as transfer orbit
services for spacecraft following launch.
