The channel, dubbed "Willie's Place," is set to debut July tenth. The 73-year-old singer-songwriter will provide creative direction for the channel and contribute exclusive programming. Nelson says he's been a fan of D.C.-based XM and its country music channel called "Hank's Place." The name of the channel will change when Nelson takes charge. XM is also building new studios for "Willie's Place" in Carl's Corner, Texas, located in Willie Nelson's BioDiesel Truck Stop. The channel will begin broadcasting from the site in 2007. ================================ George Antunes, Political Science Dept University of Houston; Houston, TX 77204 Voice: 713-743-3923 Fax: 713-743-3927 antunes at uh dot edu Reply with a "Thank you" if you liked this post. _____________________________ MEDIANEWS mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
