sure, but it is not the feature i mentioned: sorry for not having being clear.
what i want to do is the possibility to adapt the number of articles in relation to the scale of the map. So If i have 500 articles at city scale, I'll have 500 articles at country scale. I think there should be a workaround, because the scale setting is in some wikiproject http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia%3AWikiProject_Geographical_coordinates On Thu, Nov 14, 2013 at 11:42 AM, Max Semenik <[email protected]> wrote: > The limit on radius is there for performance reasons, and in general > increasing it will be pointless in densely populated areas as you will > get no more than 1000 points closest to your coordinates anyway. > > > On 13.11.2013, 0:05 Luigi wrote: > > > Hi All, > > > we've been developing a product to access the knowledge in the > > wikipedia in other ways... and of course we make use of the mediawiki > api. > > > We are using geodata extension to construct a nearby similar to the > > wiki, but I'd like the possibility to retrieve articles beyond the > > 10000 limit radius: this is the case when I drag the map. > > > As example, you can zoom out your map at "nations" scale, drag it > > around the globe, and you'll see other articles which will be > > pinned on the map.
