You can unsubscribe through web interface[0] (see under "To
unsubscribe from MediaWiki-l, get a password reminder, or change your
subscription options enter your subscription email address") or by
email to [email protected] with a subject of
"unsubscribe" and a blank body.
Every message relayed to list members includes these headers:
List-Id: MediaWiki announcements and site admin list
<mediawiki-l.lists.wikimedia.org>
List-Unsubscribe: <https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/mediawiki-l>,
<mailto:[email protected]?subject=unsubscribe>

Also you should be receiving a message like [1] weekly which also
links to [0] as a place to go to unsubscribe.
