Garrick van Buren and I have been doing a lot of work on making MediaWiki 
mobile friendly with a solid skin. We have been working on a new skin called 
Foreground. You can see more information at

Note that making a wiki responsive requires close attention to templates. 
Foreground is built on the Zurb Foundation framework, and does really well in a 
variety of environments.
