Hi Yuri, I installed the vm image with virtualbox. I just needed to switch the networkadapter to network switch and do a ifdown -a; ifup -a on the command line. Actually I do need some example pages to test whether I can migrate the pages to sharepoint wiki, and to figure out how long it may take. Nonetheless, your reply gave me a simple alternative for installation. Hopefully, the existing mediawiki will remain, though. As far as I know, sharepoint simply uses one file per article instead of an actual database. According to my research, the markup is stored in HTML, so my best bet seems to simply copy the complete wiki through wget or similar, and then modify the html files, so that I can copy them into the corresponding sharepoint directory.
Thanks for your help, Johannes On 13.09.2013 21:29, Yury Katkov wrote: > You can download the virtual machine with MediaWiki already installed. > I suspect that it will have only one Main_page though.
