Hiya :) I'm using the dynamically-linked version now on Karmic. Everything seems fine. I am having a slight problem with the way it interacts with iBus, but I suspect this is an iBus problem, as I've been having a few other difficulties with iBus too, and am about to give up and go back to SCIM.
