LouL proposed the following answer:
FFmpeg has not been offered by Medibuntu since Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.10.
However, for Karmic Medibuntu offers the libavcodec-extra-52 package
which will enable restricted encoders in the FFmpeg package from the
official Ubuntu repository. There is also a libavcodec-extra-52 package
in the official Ubuntu repository but it lacks encoding and decoding
support for AMR and encoding support for AAC audio formats.
