Status change explanation given by Elad Tsur:
The removal of Skype from Medibuntu did not fix anything, just added
confusion to new users. Furthermore, there are no static or lpia
packages of Skype on skype.com even after the release of version
2.1.0.81, so the whole rational behind removing these packages is
invalid.
