Thanks for the log. I'm guessing from it that your computer has an ATI graphic card. Is this correct? Because I've seen lots of Googleearth crashes because of ati graphic driver... (and it seems pretty random, see https://bugs.launchpad.net/medibuntu/+bug/496366 for example)
