@Adrien: could you please explain a bit more what the front-end does? When I open packages.ubuntu.org in the browser with the DNS entry for the back-end, it says "Last update: Sat, 17 Apr 2010 13:22:59 +0200" So it seems that there were no updates since Saturday, which was one day before the front-end went down. Does the packaging team need the front-end to update packages, or are they all working on this bug before adding any updates?
Btw, the domain owner didn't answer my e-mail yet.
