http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu/ Like I said, I had both canonical and medibuntu repos checked in Synaptic and I kept getting errors. After many hours, I figured that it had to be a problem related to either the canonical or medibuntu repo. So I tried checking each separately, and viola, each worked separately. So, if I need a pkg from the Medibuntu repo, then I make sure that the Canonical repo isn't checked and vice versa.
